If you are thinking about moving to Panama City, cost of living in probably a key consideration. Expats commented about the cost of housing...

"Actually, they are comparable! I came here from living in Phoenix for the last year. Had to be very fiscally conservative there-just another victim of the economic debacle-and so I am prepared to continue this ecomically challenged life-style. It is what it is! Panama offers such an amazing variety of natural riches, that I feel quite wealthy! And grateful for this opportunity to live a different kind of life and blessed to be here," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to Panama City, Panama.

"The cost of housing in Panama City can vary greatly depending on the area and type of property. Generally, the average cost of a one-bedroom apartment in the city center is around $800 to $1,000 per month, while a three-bedroom apartment in the suburbs can cost around $1,200 to $1,500 per month. Prices for larger homes and luxury properties can range from $2,000 to $5,000 per month," commented one expat who made the move to Panama City, Panama.
