I choose the area because of sailing, and then formed the S.A.M.M sailing assoiciation.Which is based in Los Alcazares and has now over 150 family members. We now have a number of groups with 8 share owned boats,and members with privately owned boats," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to Los Alcazares, Spain.

As Los Alcazares is close to the coast, it is important to try to organise health insurance that includes emergency medical care while at the beach or engaging in water sports. It is also important to familiarise yourself with the regulations and laws in Spain, as these may differ to other countries. The best way to integrate into the community is to get to know your neighbours and join local community activities.
