Answer this Question

When we asked people what advice they would give someone preparing to move to Paros, they said...

"- Paros is located in the Cyclades islands in the Aegean Sea, with a population of approximately 13,000. - Paros enjoys a Mediterranean climate with sunny summers and mild winters. - The local language is Greek, but English is widely understood and spoken. - The majority of people living in Paros are of Greek nationality, although there is a large expat population from other European countries. - Public transportation is limited, so having a car or motorbike is strongly recommended. - Rental prices can be higher than in other parts of Greece and accommodation is mostly limited to private apartments, villas and hotels. - Internet coverage is good in most places on the island, but a 3G or 4G plan is needed for mobile data. - The cost of living is generally higher than the mainland, with groceries, basic services and dining out being more expensive. - Paros is home to some of the most beautiful beaches and stunning natural landscape in the Aegean Sea. - English is the main language used in all tourist activities and information on the island is available in English," remarked another expat who made the move to Paros, Greece.
