Todos Santos is not an overly large city, so it is important to be aware of safety precautions when traveling around. It is also important to research the medical and health care options in the region, as these may be different from what you are used to. For an expat, it is recommended to have both a Mexican driver's license and car insurance prior to moving. Lastly, make sure to research the cost of living and the availability of jobs in the area you plan on relocating to, as these will affect the quality of lifestyle you can expect to have," commented one expat who made the move to Todos Santos, Mexico.
