Expats who enjoy a vibrant cultural scene will find plenty to do in Bilbao. Healthcare in Spain is of a high standard, and Bilbao is no exception. Expats should ensure they have adequate health insurance, as free healthcare is not available to non-residents. Bilbao is a safe city with a low crime rate.
