Healthcare in Guangzhou is of a very high standard, however many basic treatments and medicines are not covered by the state health insurance and will need to be paid for out-of-pocket. 5. With a vast amount of diverse cuisine available, there are plenty of options for expats looking for dining out, although it is recommended to research the local restaurants before eating. 6.
