The climate in Levuka is tropical, meaning it's warm year-round, but it also has a rainy season that can bring hurricanes. Expats should also be aware that while Levuka is beautiful and peaceful, it doesn't offer the same level of amenities or entertainment options as larger cities. Property ownership can be complex in Fiji, with land divided into three categories: native, freehold, and state. Foreigners can buy freehold land, but it's limited and more expensive.
