How are healthcare services in Puglia?
When we asked expats and global nomads about the quality of medical care in Puglia, they replied...
"Puglia offers a wide range of healthcare services to its citizens. The region is served by a network of public and private hospitals, clinics, and health centers. Public healthcare is provided by the National Health Service (SSN), which offers free or low-cost medical care to all citizens. Private healthcare is also available, with many private hospitals and clinics offering a range of services. In addition, there are a number of specialized medical centers, such as those for cancer treatment, mental health, and rehabilitation. The region also has a number of pharmacies, which provide prescription and over-the-counter medications. Finally, Puglia has a number of health promotion initiatives, such as health education programs and health screenings," explained one expat living in Puglia, Italy.
