How are healthcare services in Guadalajara?
When we asked expats and global nomads about the quality of medical care in Guadalajara, they replied...
"Guadalajara offers a wide range of healthcare services, including both public and private hospitals and clinics. The public healthcare system is provided by the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) and the Institute of Social Security and Services for State Workers (ISSSTE). These public healthcare services are available to all Mexican citizens and legal residents, and provide access to general and specialized medical care, as well as preventive health services. Private healthcare services are also available in Guadalajara, and are provided by a variety of private hospitals and clinics. These services offer a range of medical and surgical treatments, as well as specialized care in areas such as cardiology, oncology, and neurology. Additionally, Guadalajara is home to a number of medical research centers and universities, which provide access to advanced medical treatments and technologies," commented one expat who made the move to Guadalajara, Mexico.
