"Grenoble has a comprehensive emergency services system in place to help citizens in times of need. The city is served by the SAMU (Service d'Aide Médicale Urgente), which is the French equivalent of an ambulance service. In the event of an emergency, citizens can call the SAMU at 15 or 112 to request an ambulance. The SAMU is staffed by medical professionals who are trained to respond to a variety of medical emergencies.
