Will I need to travel to see a specialist?

Answer this Question

When we asked members in Nadi if they typically need to travel to see specialists, they replied...

"Yes, there are a good number of medical specialists in Nadi. People in Nadi can access a wide range of medical services, including general practitioners, specialists, and hospitals. For highly specialized medical care, people usually travel to the capital city of Suva, which is home to the main referral hospital, the Colonial War Memorial Hospital. This hospital offers a wide range of specialist services, including cardiology, neurology, oncology, and orthopedics. Additionally, there are a number of private hospitals in Suva that offer specialized medical care," wrote a member who made the move to Nadi, Fiji.
