Will I need to travel to see a specialist?

Answer this Question

When we asked members in Johor Bahru if they typically need to travel to see specialists, they replied...

"Yes, there are a good number of medical specialists in Johor Bahru. People in the area can access a wide range of medical services, including general practitioners, specialists in various fields, and highly specialized medical care. For highly specialized medical care, people usually go to the Sultan Ismail Hospital, which is the largest hospital in the state and offers a wide range of services, including cardiology, neurology, oncology, and other specialized treatments. Additionally, there are several private hospitals in the area that offer highly specialized medical care, such as the Gleneagles Hospital and the Regency Specialist Hospital," explained one expat living in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
