Will I need to travel to see a specialist?

Answer this Question

When we asked members in Tequisquiapan if they typically need to travel to see specialists, they replied...

"Tequisquiapan is home to a variety of medical specialists located in its main hospital, Hospital General de Tequisquiapan, and local health centers. Patients can find both general and specialist care, such as cardiology, endocrinology, pediatrics, neurology and other areas of health. For highly specialized medical care, patients typically travel to Queretaro, the capital city and home to the Centro Medico Nacional Siglo XXI and two major private clinics: Clinicas Medica Sur and Hospital de Especialidades. This region also offers access to experienced physicians in major medical centers and private medical offices," remarked another expat in Tequisquiapan, Mexico.
