The warm climate and affordable cost of living are other factors that attract expats and digital nomads to the city. On the other hand, some of the challenges faced by expats and digital nomads in Dar es Salaam include the lack of reliable and fast internet connectivity, which can be a significant issue for those who rely on the internet for work. Traffic congestion and poor infrastructure can also be frustrating, making it difficult to navigate the city and access essential services. Additionally, the healthcare system in Tanzania may not be up to the standards that some expats are used to, and they may need to seek private healthcare or travel to other countries for certain treatments.
