Additionally, the relatively low cost of living compared to other Caribbean destinations is a plus for many expats. On the other hand, some expats and digital nomads may dislike the high crime rate in Trinidad & Tobago, which can make them feel unsafe at times. They may also find the public transportation system to be unreliable and inefficient, making it difficult to get around without a car. Another potential downside is the limited availability of high-speed internet, which can be a challenge for digital nomads who rely on a stable connection for work.
