The relatively low cost of living is another attractive feature for expats and digital nomads, as it allows them to maintain a comfortable lifestyle without breaking the bank. Additionally, the English-speaking population makes it easier for foreigners to communicate and navigate the city. However, there are also some aspects of living in Port of Spain that expats and digital nomads may dislike. The high crime rate, particularly in certain areas of the city, can be a concern for personal safety. Traffic congestion and unreliable public transportation can also be frustrating for those who need to commute or travel around the city regularly. The hot and humid climate may be uncomfortable for some, especially during the rainy season when mosquitoes and other insects are more prevalent.
