What do people like (and dislike) about Paros?
When we asked expats and global nomads what they like and dislike about living in Paros, they replied...
"Expats and digital nomads generally like living in Paros, for its beautiful beaches, picturesque villages, and relaxed atmosphere. They appreciate the friendly and welcoming locals, as well as the delicious Greek cuisine. The island's relatively low cost of living compared to other European destinations is also a plus for many expats and digital nomads. The climate in Paros is another attractive feature, with sunny weather and mild temperatures throughout most of the year. The island's central location in the Cyclades makes it easy to explore other nearby islands, which is a bonus for those who enjoy traveling. However, there are some downsides to living in Paros. The island can become quite crowded during the peak tourist season, which may lead to increased noise levels and a lack of privacy. Additionally, the public transportation system on the island is limited, making it necessary to rent a car or scooter for getting around. Another potential drawback is the limited availability of high-speed internet, which can be a challenge for digital nomads who rely on a stable connection for work. Finally, while the island offers a range of amenities, it may not have all the services and facilities that expats and digital nomads are used to in larger cities," remarked another expat who made the move to Paros, Greece.
