"The pandemic has had a significant impact on the healthcare system in Manila. Many hospitals have been overwhelmed with the influx of patients, leading to long wait times and limited access to medical care. Additionally, the shortage of medical supplies and protective equipment has made it difficult for healthcare workers to provide adequate care. The government has implemented various measures to help alleviate the strain on the healthcare system, such as providing additional funding for hospitals and increasing the number of beds available. Despite these efforts, the healthcare system in Manila continues to be strained due to the pandemic," remarked another expat who made the move to Manila, Philippines.
