"Panama calls itself "the crossroads of the world" for a reason: many nationalities live here. This is very enriching, and is one of the reasons we chose to live in Panama. Those who stick to only citizens of their homeland (what the Forums usually mean by expats) are really missing out. Right now I don't have any friends who are US or Canadian citizens. Nevertheless about 70% of my friends are expats from other parts of the world," said another expat in Panama City, Panama.
