How are local medical facilities in San Juan del Sur?
We asked members about local medical facilities in San Juan del Sur, they wrote...
"Medical facilities and medical care in San Juan del Sur are limited. There is one public hospital, Hospital San Juan de Dios, which provides basic medical services. Private clinics are available, but they are more expensive and may not have the same level of care as the public hospital. Additionally, there are a few pharmacies in the area that provide basic medications. However, for more serious medical issues, it is recommended to seek medical care in a larger city such as Managua or Granada," remarked another expat who made the move to San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua.
