"The Hospital de Osa, a new hospital with 88 beds, 80,000 square feet, an emergency room and lots of doctors is located just 15 minutes down the coastal highway. There are also local clinics and dentists in Uvita, the next town to the north. You won't have open heart surgery in this area, but almost anything else is possible," remarked another expat in Ojochal, Costa Rica.
"Ojochal has a variety of medical facilities and medical care options available. There are several private clinics and hospitals in the area that offer a range of services, including general medical care, emergency care, and specialty care. Additionally, there are several pharmacies in the area that provide prescription medications and over-the-counter medications. The local medical facilities are staffed by experienced and knowledgeable medical professionals who are dedicated to providing quality care to their patients," said a member in Ojochal, Costa Rica.
