"Medical care in Cabo San Lucas is generally comparable to that of the rest of Mexico. It has a range of both private and public hospitals and clinics, offering a variety of services including general medical, dental, and mental health. Many of these facilities feature a mix of experienced bilingual staff and leading-edge equipment. The Government-run hospitals and clinics, though limited, also provide reasonably good medical care at a fraction of the cost of private healthcare facilities. In addition, many private hospitals and clinics have agreements with international insurance companies, so that visitors from abroad can use their insurance in case of an emergency," explained one expat living in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
