The process of applying for a visa involves submitting an application form, passport-sized photographs, and a valid passport to the Royal Thai Embassy or Consulate in the visitor's home country. Depending on the type of visa, additional documents may be required. In order to obtain residency in Bangkok, Thailand, applicants must submit an application form, passport-sized photographs, and a valid passport to the Royal Thai Embassy or Consulate in their home country. Additionally, applicants must provide proof of financial stability, a valid work permit, and a valid visa. Once the application is approved, applicants must then apply for a residence permit at the Immigration Bureau in Bangkok," explained one expat living in Bangkok, Thailand.
