In order to obtain residency in Bangkok, Thailand, applicants must submit an application form, passport-sized photographs, and a valid passport to the Royal Thai Embassy or Consulate in their home country. Additionally, applicants must provide proof of financial stability, a valid work permit, and a valid visa. Once the application is approved, applicants must then apply for a residence permit at the Immigration Bureau in Bangkok," commented one expat who made the move to Bangkok, Thailand.
