In order to obtain residency in Phuket, Thailand, applicants must submit an application form, passport-sized photographs, and a valid passport to the Thai Embassy or Consulate in their home country. They must also provide proof of financial stability, a valid work permit, and a valid residence permit. Once the application is approved, the applicant will be issued a residence permit, which must be renewed every year," explained one expat living in Phuket, Thailand.
