What are the visa & residency requirements in Atlanta?

Answer this Question

We asked people about the visa & residency requirements in Atlanta, they wrote...

"In order to obtain a visa to enter Atlanta, an individual must first apply for a nonimmigrant visa through the U.S. Department of State. This process requires the applicant to fill out an online application, pay the required fees, and attend an interview at the U.S. Embassy or Consulate. Once the visa is approved, the individual can enter the United States. In order to apply for residency in Atlanta, an individual must first obtain a green card. This process requires the applicant to fill out an application, provide evidence of their eligibility, and attend an interview at the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services office. Once the application is approved, the individual can apply for a Social Security number and obtain a driver's license," remarked another expat who made the move to Atlanta, the United States.
