In order to obtain residency in The Cayes, Belize, applicants must submit an application form, a valid passport, a passport-sized photograph, a police record, a medical certificate, and a fee. Additionally, applicants must provide proof of financial stability, such as bank statements or a letter of employment. Once the application is approved, applicants must attend an interview with the Immigration Department. Upon successful completion of the interview, applicants will be issued a residency permit," explained one expat living in The Cayes, Belize.
