Proof of hotel reservation made in Macao and an invitation letter from an organization or an individual in Macao might also be required. For certain visa categories, additional documents might be needed. After submitting all required documents, the visa may be granted once the application is approved. In order to apply for residency in Macao, one has to submit certain documents to the Immigration Service of Macao. First, the individual needs to submit a valid passport and other related documents, such as a marriage certificate or documents proving family relations. The applicant may also have to submit proof of financial resources and proof of residency.
