The visa application process requires applicants to submit a valid passport, a completed visa application form, a passport-sized photograph, and proof of sufficient funds to cover the duration of the stay. Depending on the type of visa, additional documents may be required. To apply for residency in Cali, Colombia, applicants must first obtain a visa from the Colombian Embassy or Consulate in their home country. After arriving in Colombia, applicants must register with the Migración Colombia office and obtain a cédula de extranjería, or foreign identification card. This card must be renewed every two years. Applicants must also provide proof of sufficient funds to cover the duration of their stay, a valid passport, and a completed application form.
