Applications must also include a fee, and processing takes around 10 days. To apply for residency in Accra, Ghana, applicants must provide an application form, copies of their passport or identity card, a letter of employment or study, criminal background check documents, financial proof of resources to cover their stay, and a medical certificate. Residency applications are processed by the Ministry of Interior or the Normalization Structures, and the process generally lasts between 30 to 90 days," commented one expat who made the move to Accra, Ghana.
