Additional documents may be requested depending on the type of visa. To apply for residency in Lyon, France, the applicant should submit a copy of his/her valid passport, proof of accommodation and a certificate of enrollment in an institute of higher education. They will also be required to provide a report on criminal history, proof of a bank account and proof of fiscal residence. The application will be reviewed within two to three months, and if accepted, the residence permit will be issued.
