What are the visa & residency requirements in Manzanillo?
We asked people about the visa & residency requirements in Manzanillo, they wrote...
"To visit Manzanillo, visitors must first obtain a tourist visa. Tourist visas are typically valid for six months and can be applied for online through the Mexican visa website. Applicants must provide their passport, proof of sufficient funds to cover the duration of their stay, and a copy of their round-trip ticket or leave document. Applying for residency in Manzanillo is a more complex process and requires applicants to meet a certain set of requirements. At least three months prior to the application for residency, applicants must apply for a Temporary Resident Visa, which will include an interview at the Mexican consulate. After being approved for the Temporary Resident Visa, applicants must apply for a registration with Mexico's General Directorate of Migration (Dgire). Finally, applicants must secure an address in Manzanillo and register with the local government service center known as the Registro INE," wrote a member who made the move to Manzanillo, Mexico.
