Answer this Question

We asked people about the visa & residency requirements in Guanajuato, they wrote...

"In order to enter Guanajuato as a visitor, a non-citizen must have a valid visa from the Mexican consulate in their country of origin. The process of applying for a visa involves submitting an application form, providing the appropriate documents, including a valid passport and a valid form of payment such as a credit card. In order to become a permanent resident of Guanajuato, Mexico, a non-citizen must submit an application for residency with the local immigration authorities. This process requires documents such as a valid passport with at least six months of validity, a valid visa or visa waiver, proof of income and a certificate of health. Additional documents may be required depending on the circumstances. The application process can take up to several months to complete and is reviewed by the local immigration authorities," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to Guanajuato, Mexico.
