What are the visa & residency requirements in Alabang?
We asked people about the visa & residency requirements in Alabang, they wrote...
"In order to travel and stay in Alabang, visitors usually need to obtain a visa from their home country before entering the country. This requires an application to the relevant embassy or consulate of the Philippines and includes providing documents such as a valid passport, proof of purpose of stay, proof of financial capacities, and other documents according to the individual immigration policy of the Philippines. To obtain residency, an individual must first acquire a visa. After that, they can apply for a Long-Term Visa (Non-Immigrant Visa) or Special Resident Retiree Visa (SRRV), both of which are necessary for applying for residency. The application process involves the submission of the necessary documents to the Bureau of Immigration (BI), including proof of financial solvency, proof of identity and health certificate. Depending on the individual’s status, a temporary permit may also need to be obtained for the duration of the period of stay. Once the interview process is complete, the individual may be regarded as a resident and is eligible to receive a residence permit," wrote a member who made the move to Alabang, Philippines.
