What advice do you have for expats having a baby in Monaco?

Answer this Question

We asked expat moms who gave birth in Monaco about their experiences and advice they have for other moms to be. They said...

"1. Make sure to research the healthcare system in Monaco and find a doctor or midwife that you trust and feel comfortable with. 2. Consider taking a childbirth preparation class to help you prepare for the birth. 3. Make sure to have a plan for after the birth, such as childcare and support from family and friends. 4. Familiarize yourself with the maternity leave policies in Monaco and plan accordingly. 5. Take advantage of the many resources available to expats in Monaco, such as support groups and online forums. 6. Make sure to take time for yourself during your pregnancy and after the birth to relax and enjoy the experience," remarked another expat who made the move to Monaco.
