"Not that we have noticed yet, but I'm sure that will be happening in the future :-)," remarked another expat in Merida, Mexico.
"A fellow once told me that if a guy addresses a man's wife as "tú" rather than "usted," it could start a fight. He told me that no matter how long and how well you know a couple, the wife is "usted" to you," said a member in Mexico.
