We asked expats and digital nomads what they appreciate the most about the local culture in Azerbaijan. They wrote...

"Expats in Azerbaijan appreciate the country's rich cultural heritage, which includes a variety of traditional music, dance, and art. They also enjoy the hospitality of the local people, who are known for their warmth and generosity. Additionally, expats appreciate the country's diverse cuisine, which features a variety of dishes from the Caucasus region. Finally, expats enjoy the country's stunning natural beauty, with its majestic mountains, lush forests, and crystal-clear lakes," commented one expat who made the move to Azerbaijan.

"People enjoying the many parks and fountains--makes you forget that the place is bascially a desert. People are very kind and helpful when asked. Those who have studied English are bold about using it--which is unlike other places and can be very helpful. Public transportation is quite good, and inexpensive," remarked another expat in Baku, Azerbaijan.
