What do expats find most challenging?
We asked expats and digital nomads what they find the most challenging about the local culture in Sudan. They wrote...
"Expats in Sudan often find the local culture to be quite different from their own, which can be challenging to adjust to. Language barriers can be a challenge, as English is not widely spoken in Sudan. Additionally, the local customs and traditions can be difficult to understand and navigate. Expats may also find the local cuisine to be quite different from what they are used to, which can be a challenge to adjust to. Finally, the hot and dry climate can be difficult to adjust to, especially for those coming from cooler climates," wrote a member who made the move to Sudan.
