We asked retirees what they find the most challenging about retiring in Hungary. They wrote...

"One of the most challenging aspects of retiring in Hungary is the language barrier. Many people in Hungary speak Hungarian, which can be difficult for those who do not speak the language. Additionally, the cost of living in Hungary is relatively high, making it difficult for retirees to make ends meet. Furthermore, the healthcare system in Hungary is not as advanced as in other countries, making it difficult for retirees to access the medical care they need. Finally, the cultural differences between Hungary and other countries can be difficult to adjust to, making it difficult for retirees to feel at home," wrote a member who made the move to Hungary.
