"Retirees in Thailand have access to an active expat community and can enjoy a variety of cultural attractions such as the temples, world-class cuisine, and night markets. There are also recreational activities such as golf, tennis, and scuba diving. In addition, retirement in Thailand provides retirees with ample opportunities for socializing, as there is plenty of nightlife in the cities and beach towns. The cost of living is relatively low as well, further making retirement in Thailand an attractive prospect," said another expat in Thailand.
