"The cost of living in the British Virgin Islands is generally higher than in other Caribbean countries due to its higher standard of living. Prices for basic goods and services such as food, housing, transportation, and entertainment are all higher than in other Caribbean countries. Additionally, the cost of imported goods is also higher due to the islands' remote location.
