"The cost of living in Greece is generally considered to be quite reasonable. Prices for basic necessities such as food, transportation, and housing are generally lower than in other European countries. However, the cost of living can vary significantly depending on the city and region. For example, living in Athens is more expensive than living in smaller cities or rural areas. Additionally, the cost of living can be higher in tourist areas due to the increased demand for goods and services," commented one expat who made the move to Greece.
