Prices for basic necessities such as food, housing, and transportation are generally lower than in other Caribbean countries. However, the cost of imported goods and services can be more expensive than in other countries. Additionally, the cost of entertainment and leisure activities can be quite high, as Martinique is a popular tourist destination," remarked another expat in Martinique.
