What are healthcare services like in Tajikistan?
We asked retirees if they have access to good medical care in Tajikistan. They wrote...
"Tajikistan has a public healthcare system that provides basic medical services to its citizens. The country has a network of hospitals, clinics, and health centers that provide primary care services such as immunizations, maternal and child health care, and preventive health services. In addition, there are specialized medical centers that provide more advanced services such as cardiology, oncology, and neurology. The government also provides free or subsidized medications to those in need. Despite these efforts, access to healthcare in Tajikistan remains limited due to a lack of resources and infrastructure," remarked another expat in Tajikistan.
