What are healthcare services like in Venezuela?
We asked retirees if they have access to good medical care in Venezuela. They wrote...
"The private clinics in Venezuela are excellent," said another expat in Porlamar, Venezuela.
"Healthcare services in Venezuela have been in decline for many years due to the country's economic crisis. Access to basic medical supplies and medications is limited, and many hospitals lack the necessary equipment and personnel to provide adequate care. In addition, the country's public health system is underfunded and understaffed, leading to long wait times and overcrowded facilities. As a result, many Venezuelans are unable to access the healthcare they need, and the quality of care is often substandard," wrote a member who made the move to Venezuela.
