What are healthcare services like in Zambia?

Answer this Question

We asked retirees if they have access to good medical care in Zambia. They wrote...

"Healthcare services in Zambia are generally limited and of low quality. The country has a shortage of healthcare professionals, and many of the existing healthcare facilities are underfunded and lack basic medical supplies. Access to healthcare is also limited in rural areas, where many people lack access to basic medical care. The government has made efforts to improve healthcare services, but much more needs to be done to ensure that all Zambians have access to quality healthcare," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to Zambia.
