We asked retirees if they have access to good medical care in Greece. They wrote...

"No, it is necessary to go to Athens for anything serious, although there are private clinics and facilities that cater for other procedures," said another expat in Paros, Greece.

"I disagree with the statement that you have to go to Athens for anything serious. I had two serious operations in my local hospital. As I have the Greek Healthcare, I only had to pay for my Chemotherapy and had excellent care before and after treatment," wrote a member who made the move to Greece.
