What are healthcare services like in Nepal?
We asked retirees if they have access to good medical care in Nepal. They wrote...
"Healthcare services in Nepal are generally limited and of low quality. The country has a shortage of healthcare professionals, and many of the existing healthcare facilities are underfunded and lack basic medical equipment. Access to healthcare is also limited in rural areas, where many people lack access to basic medical care. Despite these challenges, the government of Nepal has made efforts to improve healthcare services, including increasing access to primary care and providing free healthcare to the poor," remarked another expat in Nepal.
