Is there a lot of crime in Gambia?
We asked people if there is a lot of crime. They answered...
"Gambia has a relatively low crime rate compared to other countries in the region. However, there have been reports of violent crime, including armed robbery, assault, and rape. Petty crime, such as pickpocketing and bag snatching, is also common in some areas. The government has taken steps to improve security, including increasing police presence in major cities and tourist areas," wrote a member who made the move to Gambia.
