"Jordan is generally considered to be a safe country, with low levels of crime. However, there have been reports of petty crime, such as pickpocketing and bag snatching, in some areas of the country. In addition, there have been isolated incidents of more serious crimes, such as armed robbery and carjacking, in some parts of the country.
