How do I meet people in Ghana?
When we asked people living in Ghana about club and activities where newcomers can meet others, they responded...
"There are plenty of expat organisations and groups with various interests - gym, swim club, bridge, golf. movies etc. No matter what your interest you are bound to find a group to join or you can easily form one. Join those groups that interest you. For ladies NAWA is an excellent resource, so is expataccra," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to Accra, Ghana.
"Expats in Ghana often join clubs and activities such as golf, tennis, and sailing. Expats can also join book clubs, language classes, and other social activities. Additionally, expats can meet people by attending local events such as festivals, concerts, and art exhibitions. Expats can also meet people by attending church services, joining a gym, or volunteering with a local charity. Finally, expats can meet people by simply striking up conversations with locals in cafes, bars, and other public places," commented one expat who made the move to Ghana.
